Plastic injection moulding project from Rapid prototyping to Tooling and molding
This project was placed to Suntime mould from rapid prototyping to tooling and injection moulding. The housing surface is Mold tech texture and there is silk printing in the middle housing. The parts assembly tolerance is small, and production of plastic tooling & molding are very short. The product is used for Home water monitoring and protection. For this proejct, we provided parts to Australia, USA and Flextronics Mexico.

For molds staying in China for production, our designers make tool drawings as Chinese production standard. When time is very urgent, we make 3D tool design directly after DFMs. Normally make tools as family moulds to help customers to save tooling cost.

Suntime has much experience of whole package tool making and moulding. Below is one of the project with PPSU material. The moulds are high temperature moulds, temperature reach to 160 degree, cooling by oil. They are rings for water pipe products.

1. How many injection machines do you have?
We have 7 injection machines from 90 ton to 400 ton.
2. Besides plastic components, can you make die casting parts and do the second machining?
Yes, we are a very good mold maker, not only for plastic mould but also die cast moulds. We have rich experience of making die casting parts including process of molding, deburring, tapping, drilling, boring, CNC machining, bead blasting, anodizing, plating/ painting and so on.
3. What about your Inspections?
We have inspection equipments such as Hexagon CMM, projector, hardness tester, vernier calipers and so on. The Inspection includes incoming material inspection,Hardness inspection, Electrodes inspection, Steel dimension inspection, Molding reports and FAI reports, IPQC, OQC reports etc,.
4. What services and products can you offer?
"Our main business is for plastic injection mold making, die cast mold making, plastic injection molding, die casting (Aluminum), precision machining and rapid prototyping.
We also provide value-added products including silicon parts, metal stamping parts, extrusion parts and stainless machines parts and so on."
5. What about products package for shipping?
After production, we will use plastic foam or bubble bags as the first protection for parts. There will be card for each layer. 7-ply tough cartons will be used. If shipping by air, sea or train, boxes will be packed together in a plastic pallet. For express, sometimes, if the part is big and heavy, we will use small box firstly and put it into big box for better protection.
6. Can I visit you for factory audit? And how can I visit?
