The Story with Customer

Customer found us and told that they have worked with different kind of suppliers in the automotive battery lid and box projects for over 20 years, but none of them can make the moulds good enough and always need to replace new moulds every 2~3 years.

We have discussed for months about the difficulties and how can we solve the problems they faced previously.

Finally, they decided to try us in 2015. The Mould design and mould manufacturing process was very smooth. In the first mould trial, we faced a little problem of warpage which happens all the time among customers’ old suppliers. Our engineers checked and do modification in few days and the second trial is ok for all.

Our customer and their end customer were very happy with our quality and service. From 2015 until now, our company Suntime Precision Mould keeps making similar battery lid and box projects with different size and model. Our team visited the end customer twice, in 2016 and 2019. The moulds there were still working well. The customer said that much cost and time had been saved after working with us, and that our solutions made their moulding work much more effective.

Following the success of the battery lid project, the customer also gave SPM the battery box project. I am so happy to be part of this project from the start to finish. It was not only a great achievement for our company, but also a very valuable experience for me personally. Our team have learned more professional knowledge and gained the long-term business relationship mutual trust.

Suntime has very effective mold designers. For DFM, it can be finished within 1~2 days, mold flow / 2D layout within 2~4 days, and 3D within 3~5 days depending on mold complexity.

With customers

Customers came to Suntime many times to check the tool making and moulding, and Suntime team has visited them twice in 2016 and 2019 before the Covid to provide technical support. After our customers’ introduction, Suntime team knew more about the the working process of automotive battery production. And we have more knowledge and confidence to do better for them based on our years’ experience.
